Geert Fonteyn

Geert Fonteyn currently serves as the Head of Physical Security at Belfius since April 2023, and also holds the position of Physical Security Specialist and Physical Security Manager at Crelan since January 2022. Previously, Geert acted as Physical Security Manager at STIB-MIVB from March 2020 to December 2021 and served in several capacities at Belfius from 2010 to 2020, including Head of Security, Responsible Internet & Mobile Banking Infrastructure, and Regional Sales Manager. Geert's career in security began at Dexia Bank, where responsibilities included managing Branch & ATM Infrastructure from June 2005 to October 2010. Geert Fonteyn holds a Bachelor in Communication from Hoger Handels- en Taleninstituut and has additional training from Securitas Training.
