Kurt Gheysen

Kurt Gheysen is an experienced financial professional specializing in financial markets and product management. Currently serving at Belfius as a Product Manager for Financial Markets Intelligence since August 2019, Kurt also founded Topatleten in December 2020 to support top athletes in their career transitions. Previously, from February 2018 to December 2023, Kurt contributed as a financial team member for various startups, including LynxCare and Tractonomy Robotics. At NMBS-SNCB, Kurt was the Product Owner for Data Quality in Traveller Information Services from May 2019 to June 2022. Kurt's extensive career began at BNP Paribas Fortis from July 1998 to January 2018, where responsibilities included heading trading activities in various financial instruments and serving on key committees. Earlier roles included Senior Trader at Indosuez Bank Belgium and Rates Trader at BACOB Bank. Kurt holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics from KU Leuven and additional educational qualifications from HUB-EHSAL.
