Stein Maerivoet

Stein Maerivoet is a Senior Technical Designer at Belfius since September 2023, with extensive experience in software engineering. Previously, Maerivoet worked at Ixor from October 2019 to September 2023, focusing on backend development of web applications utilizing Spring Boot, microservice architecture, and various AWS resources. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer and Junior Software Engineer at Objective International from January 2016 to October 2019, where responsibilities included translating customer requirements into technical designs. Maerivoet also contributed to a startup, Winfri, as a co-entrepreneur and developer. Initial career experience includes a position as a Summer Student Administrative Assistant at Crelan from August 2011 to August 2013. Stein Maerivoet holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and ICT Engineering Technology, both from KU Leuven.
