Dwayne has held senior roles in various companies including BELFOR Franchise Group, D1 Sports Training, City Saver, UFC GYM, Harris Research, Inc., Swiftwick, FOCUS Brands, Ruby Tuesday, AFC Enterprises, Inc., and Cinnabon. Throughout their career, Tanner has been responsible for strategic growth, franchise sales, negotiation of area development deals, franchise marketing, public relations, and partnerships. Dwayne has demonstrated success in expanding businesses through responsible franchising and has experience in the sports, fitness, hospitality, and retail industries.

Dwayne Tanner completed their high school education at Lake Highlands High School from 1983 to 1986. Dwayne then pursued their undergraduate studies at Rice University from 1986 to 1990, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Studies, Economics, and Political Science.
