Derek Winstanly

Derek Winstanly is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as an Independent Director at Belhaven Biopharma since November 2023 and as Chairman at Renovion since November 2017. Winstanly has held various key positions, including Independent Director on the Board of HUYA Bioscience International since 2010 and Senior Executive Vice President at Quintiles from 1999 to August 2015, where significant strategic contributions were made to the industry. Previous roles at GSK included President of Nippon Wellcome in Japan and various leadership positions in South Africa and Japan.
