Charlie Allen

Charlie Allen currently serves as the Head of Business Development (Public Sector) at Believ, focusing on the creation of a reliable electric vehicle charging network in the UK. Previously, Charlie held the position of Commercial Lead for Highways and Transport at West Sussex County Council, managing the West Sussex Chargepoint Network to enhance EV charging access for residents without off-street parking. Additionally, experience includes a role as a Business Analyst at Ricardo Strategic Consulting, where focus was on strategic consultancy for various industry stakeholders, and as a Quality Engineer within Ricardo's Performance Products division. Earlier internships were completed at BAE Systems and the University of Nottingham, along with an engineering design placement at Randox. Charlie holds a Master of Science in Advanced Materials from Cranfield University, a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Brighton, and a Level 7 Diploma in Professional Consulting from the Chartered Management Institute.
