Currently serving as the Head of Editorial & Marketing Partnerships for Russia and CIS at Believe Distribution Services since February 2013, Makarov previously held the position of Senior Marketing & Publicity Manager at GALA RECORDS from March 2004 to January 2013, where successful marketing campaigns were developed for renowned artists such as Coldplay and Robbie Williams, achieving GOLD sales certification. Earlier roles included Press Promoter at WWW.RECORDS, where Makarov crafted promotional campaigns for notable albums and contributed to the publicity strategy for Russia's first TV reality music show.
