Erik Burgers has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Erik started their career as an Assistant to VP at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in 1998. Erik then joined Minolta Business Solutions as a Sales Representative in 1999, where they increased the company's market share by 30% in a specific area. In 2000, Erik joined Belkin Corporation as an Account Manager, managing the Latin America region and Wal-Mart USA Retail Channel with total annual sales exceeding $85 million. After working at Belkin Corporation for three years, they joined DaimlerChrysler as an MBA Graduate Marketing Intern, where they conducted various research and analysis projects. In 2005, Erik returned to Belkin International, taking on various roles including EMEA Channel Marketing Manager, Senior Product Marketing Manager, and Managing Director - UK. Erik later became Director of Sales - DSGi Pan-Euro, responsible for the development and growth of the Pan-European key account sales channel. Erik's most recent positions at Belkin International include Global Director - Apple, Senior Global Director - Partnerships, and their current role as Vice President - Global Partnerships, which they assumed in October 2018. Throughout their career, Erik has demonstrated strategic leadership, strong sales and marketing skills, and the ability to drive growth and achieve corporate goals.

Erik Burgers began their education journey in 1994 at Trinity College-Hartford, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with a minor in German. Erik successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1998. Then, in 2003, Erik enrolled in the Thunderbird School of Global Management and pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Erik specialized in Global Marketing during their time at Thunderbird and completed their MBA in 2005.
