Founded in 2017, Belknap House is a nonprofit that provides safe shelter to homeless families in Belknap County, NH. Families with children are especially vulnerable during homelessness and Belknap House strives to not only provide a safe shelter to families but to also empower them to become self-sufficient through educational opportunities and customized resource referrals. 

Through direct services, case management, community resource collaboration, and tenant accountability, Belknap House strives to support homeless parents with a helping hand. This approach requires parents to work hard in our programs to develop life-changing skills and confidence. As a result, families are on track to obtain a home of their own and have the tools to be better parents and resilient community members.
