Principal Engineer, Embedded Software at Bell Flight

Brian Handley has over 25 years of work experience in the aviation and engineering industry. Brian began their career at The Mudlogging Company USA, LP, where they worked in various roles as a Systems Integration Engineer, developing and testing software and systems. Brian then moved on to S-TEC/Cobham Avionics as a Sr. Project Engineer, specializing in embedded avionics systems and autopilots. After that, they joined Eaton Aerospace as a Lead Software Engineer, where they led software development efforts for multiple aircraft programs. Following that, they worked at Genesys Aerosystems as a Principal Engineer, focusing on cockpit display systems for aviation compliance. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Engineer in Embedded Software at Bell Flight, where they are responsible for avionics integration in the Bell 525 helicopter. Overall, Brian has demonstrated expertise in avionics, software development, and system integration throughout their career.

Brian Handley attended the University of Houston from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
