John E. Novalis II BG(ret), U.S. Army has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. John E. Novalis II began their career in the US Army in 2007, serving as the Chief of the Aviation Enlisted Branch at the Human Resource Command. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining Army Aviation Readiness and managing the recruitment, promotion, and retention of 20,000 Aviation Soldiers.

From 2010 to 2012, John E. Novalis II served as an Aviation Brigade Commander, leading a complex and diverse organization of 3,200 employees and 137 aircraft. John E. Novalis II provided clear strategic direction and oversaw personnel management, equipment maintenance, budget execution, and training. John E. Novalis II also successfully led the deployment of the entire unit into a complex environment during decisive action operations in Afghanistan.

Following this role, they served as the Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2013 to 2015. In this position, they displayed critical decision-making skills, broad thinking, and clear judgment while providing strategic advice and synchronizing the output of the Joint Staff.

John E. Novalis II then served as the Chief of Operations for a NATO multinational organization stationed in Poland from 2017 to 2019. In this role, they designed and executed strategic operational guidance, enhanced relationships across northeast Europe, and ensured effective mission execution.

From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Highly Qualified Expert and Senior Mentor in the US Army, teaching, coaching, and mentoring senior Army leaders in the art of mission command.

In 2020, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Associate, where they contributed their expertise and insights to the company's projects.

More recently, in 2021, they served as Global Military Sales and Strategy Lead for Bell Flight before becoming the Director of Advanced Systems & Weapons Integration in 2022.

Additionally, John E. Novalis II has founded Victory Strategies, a leadership assessment and development firm that provides tailored products to improve organizational culture, alignment, and efficiency through leadership development training and team engagement.

John E. Novalis II BG(ret), U.S. Army received a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1984 to 1987. John E. Novalis II then pursued a Master's Degree in National Security Strategy from the National Defense University during 2009 and 2010. Finally, they completed another Master's Degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Webster University between 2000 and 2001.
