Luis Galvan

Luis Galvan is a Senior Structures Design Engineer at Bell Flight, specializing in the control surface of the Virgin Galactic Delta Class Spaceship since March 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Mid-Level Airframe Design Engineer at Boeing from October 2018 to March 2023, where responsibilities involved primary design of the aft cabin section for the Defiant X under the FLRAA Program, and earlier roles in airframe design and structural engineering for the same program. Luis began a career in aerospace engineering with an entry-level position developing the 777-9 wing panel structure at Boeing, along with internships at Southwest Airlines focusing on power plant engineering and structural integrity, and a manufacturing engineering internship at Bimbo Bakeries USA. Luis holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, obtained in 2018.
