Edward Tijerina

Edward Tijerina has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Edward is currently the Director of Logistics at BELLA+CANVAS since May 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Logistics- Customer and Material Delivery at the same company from October 2021 to May 2023.

Before joining BELLA+CANVAS, Edward worked at Maersk Line as an Account Executive from July 2015 to October 2021. In this role, they managed customer relationships, pursued business opportunities, and provided consultative sales solutions in the Freight Forwarder market segment.

Edward also worked at APM Terminals, where they held various roles. From May 2012 to July 2015, they were involved in Terminal Strategy and Planning, where they strategically planned and coordinated containerization flow and scheduled trains departing the terminal. Prior to that, from April 2011 to May 2012, they worked in Rail Operations, ensuring a safe working environment, planning and executing weekly operating plans, and managing labor schedules.

Earlier in their career, Edward held sales management positions at Cintas from 2008 to 2011, including Senior Service Sales Manager, Uniform Service Sales Manager, and Facilities Service Sales Manager. Edward was responsible for achieving sales goals, maintaining customer relationships, and networking with potential prospects.

Edward's early work experience includes serving as an Assistant Store Manager Operations at Albertsons Companies from June 1997 to April 2008 and working as an Associate at Smart & Final from April 1994 to April 1998 as part of the Smart University graduate program, where they gained experience in customer service, sales, and cashiering.

Edward Tijerina completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix between the years 2006 and 2009. In addition, they obtained certifications as a SMITH Driving Instructor from Smith System in June 2008 and as a Six Sigma Green Belt from Cintas in January 2003.
