Sophia Cross

Sophia Cross is an accomplished instructional assistant and camp counselor with a focus on supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Currently employed at Bellefaire JCB as a Language and Communications Instructional Assistant, Sophia enhances communication and language skills for nonverbal and semi-verbal students on the autism spectrum. At Catholic Charities as a Summer Camp Counselor, Sophia supervises activities that promote engagement and growth among children and adolescents with diverse disabilities. Previous experience includes roles as a Student Office Assistant at John Carroll University and as an Office Assistant in the Office of Residence Life. Additionally, Sophia contributed to the culinary department at Ohio Living for four years, serving residents in a retirement community. Sophia holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from John Carroll University and an Associate of Arts from Lakeland Community College.
