Valerie Marland began their work experience in 2017 as a Game Day Operations Coordinator at Halifax Mooseheads. Valerie then worked as a Brand Strategist at Dash Hudson in 2019 before becoming a Yoga Instructor at Dalhousie University from 2015 until 2019. In 2020, Valerie joined Sports & Entertainment Atlantic as an Event Coordinator and later moved on to Bellesa, where they held various roles including Customer Care Specialist, Customer Care Manager, and currently serves as the VP of Customer Experience.

Valerie Marland holds a Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management (BMgmt, BSc) from Dalhousie University. Valerie also has a certification from Power Yoga Canada.
