Teri Maddox

Teri Maddox has extensive experience in journalism and education, serving as a reporter at Belleville News-Democrat since April 1990 and teaching as a journalism instructor at St. Louis Community College at Forest Park since March 2008. Previous reporting roles include positions at Edwardsville Intelligencer and Winter Park Manifest, focusing on news and feature stories. Teri's early career also includes seasonal work as a park ranger at Rocky Mountain National Park and various internships, including roles at the Youth Policy and Law Center and Wisconsin REALTORS® Association. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Administration/Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Bachelor of Science in Political Science/Education from Southern Illinois University, and an Associate of Science in Social Sciences from John A. Logan College.
