Phil Westerhuis

Phil Westerhuis is a Senior Process Engineer at Mipac since April 2023, bringing extensive experience in the mining and metallurgy sector. Previous roles include Processing Superintendent and Senior Metallurgist at Northern Star Resources Limited, as well as Metallurgist positions at AngloGold Ashanti and Woodgrove Technologies. Phil has held various metallurgical roles in multiple organizations, including SilverLake Resources and Doray Minerals Limited, with a strong foundation as a Graduate Metallurgist at Newmont Mining Corporation. Phil's career began with practical experience as a metallurgy student and lab technician at FMR Investments, following education in Extractive Metallurgy at WASM from 2009 to 2013.
