Ingrid Hamilton

Ingrid Hamilton is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Reading Specialist in the Bellevue School District since 2014, focusing on instruction for struggling readers in grades 1-3 and supporting literacy instruction in alignment with Common Core State Standards. Prior to this role, Ingrid worked as a Literacy Specialist in the Kent School District, where responsibilities included developing curricular resources and delivering professional development on best practices to close the Achievement Gap. Earlier roles include Instructional Coach at Philadelphia Montessori Charter School, Assessment Specialist at Educational Testing Service, and teaching positions in Pendergast School District and Balsz Elementary School. Ingrid holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Widener University and a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
