Jessica Slaton

Associate Partner at Bellwether

Jessica Slaton is an experienced educational professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Psychology from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Child Development from The University of Georgia. Slaton currently serves as an Associate Partner at Bellwether, a role held since September 2018, after progressing from Senior Analyst. Prior to Bellwether, Slaton was an Evaluation Specialist at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration from August 2015 to August 2018. Earlier experience includes serving as Project Manager for a NSF funded grant at Auburn University aimed at addressing achievement gaps in science in the Black Belt Region of Alabama, as well as working as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Truman Pierce Institute, and as a Language Interventionist at Georgia State University, focusing on communication skills for toddlers with disabilities.
