Ajit Prabhu

Ajit Prabhu currently serves as the Director of Transitions and Community Partnerships at Bellwoods Centres for Community Living since January 2018, overseeing the development and implementation of transitional programs that facilitate client movement from various settings into community-based living. Previous roles at Bellwoods included Community Resource Navigator and Supervisor of Respite Services, where tasks involved building partnerships within community services, supporting healthcare providers in client transitions, and managing clients' referral sources. Prior to Bellwoods, Ajit Prabhu held positions at Nucleus Independent Living, working as a Respite Advisor and Coordinator, focusing on caregiver support initiatives. Educational background includes a Practical Nursing degree from Humber College, certificates in non-acute care infection prevention and dementia care, and a Bachelor of Science, complemented by a Master's degree in Environmental Science.
