Barbara Adamus has a long and varied work history. Barbara began their career in 1983 as a Media Spokesperson for Arthur Domingo Associates, a corporate public relations agency. Barbara then joined Bain & Company in 1985 as a Research Associate, where they worked on client teams focused on strategy development, M&A activities, and marketing implementation. In 1988, they became a Vice President at AchieveForum, an international consulting firm, where they led complex engagements and innovated the firm's consulting practice for customized, client-centered capability building. In 2004, they joined EMC as the Director of Global Learning and Development, where they designed and globally implemented an end-to-end talent management system and strategies. In 2012, they became the Managing Director at The Crossland Group, a strategic advisory firm, where they led engagements focused on key aspects of organizational transformation. Finally, in 2019, Barbara became the Chief Strategy Officer at BellXcel, where they are changing the way that youth organizations and schools reach and impact exponentially more children and families.
Barbara Adamus earned their Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Organization Development from Montclair State University between 1979 and 1983.
