Alison Gubbins

Alison Gubbins is an experienced hospitality professional currently serving as the Director of Operations Support and Sustainability at Belmond since March 2020. Prior to this role, Alison held several positions at Marriott International, including Director of Operations and Rooms Division Manager at Aloft London Excel, from December 2015 to January 2020. Earlier career experiences include serving as Front Office Manager at Sheraton Skyline Heathrow and Front Of House Manager at Turnberry, A Luxury Collection Resort, as well as Operations Manager roles at Coast Blackcomb Suites at Whistler and Residence Inn by Marriott, Whistler. Alison began in the industry at The Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler, with various roles spanning six years. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Hospitality Administration/Management from Vancouver Community College and a Commerce degree in General Business Management from The University of British Columbia.
