Cheryl Trotter

Cheryl Trotter, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Cheryl began their career at CPI Security in 2002, where they worked in Human Resources until 2007. Cheryl then joined ZAPATA Incorporated as an HR Manager from 2007 to 2011. In 2011, Cheryl moved to Belmont Abbey College, starting as an Associate Vice President of HR and Operations and eventually becoming the Vice President of HR and Operations.

Cheryl Trotter holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resources from Golden Gate University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. Cheryl also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business/Accounting from Belmont Abbey College, which they completed from 1992 to 1997. Cheryl also has multiple certifications including SHRM-SCP from SHRM obtained in 2015, SPHR® Certification from HR Certification Institute obtained in 2012, and PHR from HRCI obtained in December 2006.
