Emily Williams

Emily Williams has extensive experience in academia and writing, currently serving as an Adjunct Lecturer of English at Belmont Abbey College since 2009, where responsibilities include teaching Rhetoric and Literature courses, creating course syllabi, and assessing student work. Additionally, Emily has held various roles such as English and History Tutor, Interim Director of the Summer Bridge Program, and Secretary of Faculty Assembly, contributing to student success and college governance. With a strong background in publishing, Emily has worked as an editor for Crossroads Magazine and as a writer for outlets including Catholic News and Herald, Lowe's Companies, Inc., and Epicurean Charlotte. Emily holds a Master's degree in English with a focus on Rhetoric/Writing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor's degree from Belmont Abbey College.
