Rolando Rivas

Rolando Rivas has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Rolando started their career at Gemini Consulting as an Information Coordinator from 1993 to 1996. Rolando then worked at Sprint as a Group Manager from an unspecified date in 1995 until 2000. Following that, they joined Sprint Business as a Manager of Integrated Marketing from 1995 to 2000. From 2000 to 2001, Rolando served as the Director of Marketing & PR at Fairpoint Communications. Rolando then moved on to Verizon Information Services, where they held various roles, including Director of Alliances, Product Design & Sales Promotions from 2001 to 2003, and Director of Marketing Communications from 2003 to 2006. After that, they worked at DexMedia as a Group Manager of Marketing Communications from 2006 to 2007. Rolando joined the University of North Texas in 2007 as the Director of Graphic Brand Management and worked there until 2013. Currently, they are employed at Belmont Abbey College, initially as the Director of Marketing & Communications from 2013 to 2020, and now as the Associate Vice President for Marketing & Communications starting in August 2020.
