Maggie Small

Maggie Small is an experienced science educator with a career spanning over eight years. Currently serving as a Science Teacher at Belmont Day School since August 2022, Maggie previously held the same position at Shady Hill School for seven years, from September 2015 to August 2022. Prior to this, Maggie participated in the Shady Hill School Teacher Training Program for one year, and served as an AmeriCorps Fellow at the Island Institute from September 2012 to August 2014. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Elementary Education and Teaching from Tufts University, a Master of Education in Middle School Science from Lesley University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from Clark University.
