Barry Ballinger, Ph.D., serves as an Assistant Professor at Belmont University since July 2022, following a tenure as a Doctoral Candidate at The University of Kansas from August 2014 to August 2023, where research focused on the relationship between spatial configuration and contentious politics, clientelism, urban informality, and the right to the city. Barry has presented research at various international conferences in Lisbon, Istanbul, Madison, and Lawrence.
