Jen Duck

Jen Duck, PhD, serves as an Assistant Professor of Media Studies at Belmont University, where responsibilities include teaching in the Department of Cinema, TV, and Media. Since May 2021, Jen Duck has hosted and served as CEO of the Grounded on Purpose podcast, engaging with experts from various fields. In addition to academic roles, Jen Duck holds the position of Education Co-Chair for the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in the Midsouth region. Previous experience includes editorial production at CNN for Anderson Cooper 360 and producing for notable figures such as Katie Couric and Oprah Winfrey. Jen Duck's educational background includes a PhD in Rhetorics, Communication, and Information Design from Clemson University, a Master's degree in Mass Communication from Murray State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and Political Science from Miami University.
