Jim Kaiser is an experienced educator and industry professional with a long-standing career in audio engineering. Since 2005, Jim has served as a Faculty Instructor in the Audio Engineering Technology degree program at Belmont University, teaching various courses including Survey of Recording Technology and Audio Mastering. Jim has held multiple leadership roles within the Audio Engineering Society, including Past-President and President, and has been recognized with the Fellowship Award. Additionally, Jim has been an active member of NARAS/P&E Wing since 1993. Previous positions include Director of Technology at MasterMix, Owner/Consultant at StudioTex, and Lecturer at both SAE Nashville and Recording Workshop. Jim holds a Master of Science in Audio Engineering from Belmont University, along with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Audio Recording and Psychology from The Ohio State University.
