Shawn Kruggel

Shawn Kruggel has a strong background in creative and brand strategy, with a focus on media and marketing. Shawn currently holds the role of VP, Director of Creative Strategy at Medium Giant (formerly Belo + Company), where they lead a team in developing intelligence-driven and technology-enabled strategies to drive business growth for clients. Prior to this, Shawn served as the Director of Creative Strategy at Cubic Inc. from 2016 to 2019, and as the Director of Brand Strategy at WALSH Branding from 2009 to 2016. Shawn also has experience as a Senior Account Planner at Leo Burnett USA from 2005 to 2010, and as an Account Planner at Cramer-Krasselt from 2001 to 2005.

Shawn Kruggel attended The University of Kansas from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Journalism. In November 2020, they obtained a certification in Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy.
