Gen Gillespie

Gen Gillespie is responsible for Belong Health’s growth and partnership strategies with local health plans. He has over 10-years of experience launching Medicare Advantage plans across the United States. Prior to joining Belong Health, Mr. Gillespie served as a Senior Vice President of business development and account management at Lumeris, where he led engagements with health systems to build risk-bearing insurance entities and high-performing provider networks to launch Medicare Advantage products in underserved geographies, a business line that in aggregate exceeded $1B in premium revenue and 120,000 Medicare Advantage members.

He served in multiple executive roles at Lumeris, including as VP of Partner Operations where he was responsible for the successful implementation of HCC documentation and coding, HEDIS/STARS, and payer-provider contracting programs, and as Director of Corporate Development where he was responsible for corporate strategy, including sourcing and managing 3rd party technology and services partnerships and accretive M&A strategies.

He earned a B.A. from Princeton University and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Gen resides in the Washington, DC area.
