Due to the layout of our village, this role would suit an experienced community based Nurse (RMN/RGN) looking to reduce their travel.

About the role:

  • Assisting the Lead Nurse in providing leadership and support to nursing and support teams, to ensure that care and support is provided safely, efficiently and effectively in a way that encourages choice and independence and respects the privacy, dignity and lifestyle of each individual.
  • Being accountable and responsible for those customers who have been assessed as requiring 24 hour nursing care whilst maintaining a duty of Care for all customers in the village.
  • Providing nursing support which meets Belong standards, regulatory requirements, the ‘Compassion in Practice’ 6C’s and adheres to the NMC Code of Conduct and guidance within the NMC ‘Scope of Professional Practice’.

About you

As a Village Nurse at Belong, you will be making a difference to the lives of older people who might be living with a dementia or who need nursing support. You will need to use your clinical judgement to help customers improve, maintain or recover their health and wellbeing, you will deliver high quality, evidence based, person-centred care.

*This role will also include the cover of a neighbouring village in the event of absence, sickness and annual leave.

Salary £22.00 per hour

Hours - 36 hours per week
