Jessica Hoots

Jessica Hoots has extensive experience in the field of special education. Jessica served as the Director of Special Education at Belton School District #124 since July 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Director of Special Education at Raytown School District from July 2012 to June 2017. Currently, they are also an Adjunct Professor of Special Education at the University of Central Missouri since August 2021.

Jessica Hoots holds an Educational Specialist degree in Superintendency and Educational System Administration from the University of Central Missouri. Jessica also earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from The University of Kansas in 2010. In 1999, they completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Central Missouri. Furthermore, Jessica obtained a Certification in Administration of Special Education from the same institution. Additionally, they have a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Teaching from Webster University.
