Shobhit Gupta

Shobhit Gupta is a seasoned professional in the engineering and automotive sectors, currently serving as the Head of Engine Business at BEML LTD. since April 2024. Prior to this role, Shobhit held the position of Head of Research and Development at Captain Tractors Pvt. Ltd. from June 2021 to May 2025. Between March 2018 and June 2021, Shobhit worked as General Manager at both International Tractors Limited, leading Tier 4 Final and Stage 5 projects, and Sonalika. Additionally, Shobhit served as DGM at Escorts Limited from January 1994 to February 2018, overseeing emission compliance and development of engines. Shobhit holds an MBA in Finance from IMT Ghaziabad and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from MMMEC Engineering College Gorakhpur.
