Zach Baucom

Zach Baucom is a Senior Data Scientist at BEN since May 2022 and previously held the position of Data Science Intern. Zach earned a PhD in Biostatistics from Boston University, where research focused on developing novel machine learning techniques to enhance understanding of neurological disorders. Zach's prior experience includes serving as an Epidemiology Analyst at the Utah Department of Health, where an efficient disease outbreak detection system was implemented. Earlier roles include statistical analysis for AdvisX to combat money laundering, and working as a Financial Assistance Representative at Intermountain Healthcare. Zach holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Minor in Business Management from the University of Utah.
