Jorge Andres Brake

Jorge Andres Brake is a skilled Product Designer with extensive experience in user experience and product design, currently working at Benchling since April 2022. At Benchling, Jorge designed a feature that automates scientific workflows, achieving rapid adoption among customers, and has led various design thinking workshops. Previous roles include Senior Product Designer at Procore Technologies, focusing on platform capabilities for permissions and collaboration, and Senior User Experience Designer at Web.com, where significant improvements in onboarding processes were achieved. Jorge also worked as a User Experience Designer at BBDO, conducting research and usability testing for major consumer brands, and at DOOR3, developing applications for the insurance and telecommunications sectors. Jorge holds a Master’s degree in Interactive Telecommunications from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from the same institution, alongside a Software Engineering Immersive credential from Hack Reactor.
