Mark Palmer

Mark Palmer is a seasoned professional in equity research and financial analysis, currently serving as Managing Director and Senior Equity Research Analyst specializing in Fintech and Digital Assets at The Benchmark Company, LLC since January 2024. Previously, Mark held the position of Senior Equity Research Analyst at Berenberg Capital Markets, focusing on public and private companies within the same sectors from March to October 2023. With extensive experience at BTIG, LLC from 2011 to 2023, Mark led the Digital Assets Research effort and was responsible for Fintech sector analysis, while managing numerous financial equity research projects. Earlier roles included Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Highbridge Capital Management, where Mark oversaw a hedge fund's Credit Group, and Director of High Yield/Distressed Debt Analyst at BlackRock, managing portfolios and recommending investment strategies. Mark holds an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and both an MA and BA from the University of Virginia.
