Laura Paige Curtis is an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in design and patent examination. Currently serving as a Mechanical Engineer at Benchmark Group, Inc. since December 2013, Laura has been involved in HVAC and plumbing design for large retail projects. Prior to this, Laura worked as a Patent Examiner at the USPTO, where responsibilities included the review and processing of new patent applications. Laura's extensive experience also includes a long tenure as a Mechanical Engineer/Designer at Benchmark Group, Inc. from July 1999 to September 2012, a CAD Designer role at Allen Engineering Corporation, and a part-time Designer position at Hytrol. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with concentrations in Mechanical and Civil from Arkansas State University, obtained between 1991 and 1997.
