Ergin Esirgemez is an experienced professional in product development and engineering, currently serving as the Head of Product Development at Benchmark INC since January 2011. In this role, Ergin supervises product development research and leverages CAD CAM technologies for production. Previous experience includes a position as a Production Development Engineer, where responsibilities included tooling research, advanced machining, CNC programming, and designing tools for fine product manufacturing. Ergin also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Alabama from 2003 to January 2011, focusing on developing the luminescent photoelastic coating technique for stress-strain analysis on complex 3D structures. Earlier experience as an R&D Engineer in Computational Fluid Dynamics at Delta Marine in Istanbul involved applying CFD codes in the ship design process and preparing technical reports for conferences. Ergin holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from The University of Alabama and a BS in Aeronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
