Jiakang Chang

Jiakang Chang is a Software Engineer at BenchSci since February 2023, previously serving as a Senior Scientific Programmer at Healx from August 2021 to January 2023, and as a Bioinformatician/Data Scientist and Ontologist/Bioinformatician at the European Bioinformatics Institute from December 2015 to May 2021. Jiakang focuses on developing a computational infrastructure for managing toxicological data related to engineered nanomaterials, utilizing open standards, ontologies, and interoperable design to enhance European research in nanotechnology. Jiakang holds a PhD in Science of Computing and a BSc in Digital Signal and Image Processing, both from the University of Central Lancashire.
