Melanie Mastronardi

Melanie Mastronardi is currently Chief of Staff, Platform at BenchSci. Prior to that, they were Director, Professional Services at Top Hat from October 2017 to June 2022. In that role, they led the development and deployment of RedE - the Resource Efficiency Deployment Engine - an interactive web-based tool that helps clients identify, prioritize, size, and implement energy efficiency initiatives.

Before their time at Top Hat, Melanie Mastronardi worked as a Senior Consulting Associate at McKinsey & Company from January 2015 to September 2017. During their time at McKinsey, Melanie also worked as a Summer Associate in June 2014 to August 2014.

Melanie Mastronardi has a wealth of experience in resource efficiency and deployment and has been instrumental in helping clients reduce their energy consumption and costs.

Dr. Melanie Mastronardi is a polymer and materials chemist who obtained their PhD from the University of Toronto. Melanie also holds a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Ottawa.

Their manager is Eran Ben-Ari, Chief Platform Officer.
