Dustin Lackey

Dustin Lackey is an experienced athletic director and educator with a strong background in physical education and sports management. Currently serving as the Athletic Director for High Desert Middle School at Bend-La Pine Schools since June 2021, Dustin also teaches physical education at the same institution. Prior experience includes being a Real Estate Broker at Keller Williams Realty Central Oregon and serving as the Athletic Director at Canyon Crest Academy, where Dustin managed 23 athletic programs, coordinated with coaches, and oversaw strategic planning for student-athletes. Additional teaching roles spanned various schools within the San Dieguito Union High School District, focusing on physical education across multiple levels. Dustin’s earlier roles include recreation coordination and management within city recreation departments, demonstrating expertise in program development and community engagement. Dustin holds a Master of Education from National University and a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Chico.
