Mindy Kotz

Mindy Kotz is an experienced educator currently serving as an Educator at Bender JCC of Greater Washington since August 2017. Prior to this role, Mindy held positions as a Preschool Teacher at Clarendon Child Care Center and the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia, focusing on the Reggio-Emilia curriculum and fostering safe learning environments for young children. Mindy also completed a Middle School Counselor Internship at Shaker Middle School and had a practicum experience as an Elementary School Counselor at Hilltop Elementary School. Earlier in their career, Mindy worked at Bellefaire JCB as a Counselor for Children with Autism, providing support through various therapeutic activities. Mindy holds a Master of Education in School Counseling from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Psychology from Ohio University.
