Godfrey Chingono

Godfrey Chingono is a seasoned credit analyst currently working at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank since September 2023. With extensive experience in credit ratings and investment analysis, Godfrey served as Sector Head for Insurance Credit Ratings at GCR Ratings from March 2016 to September 2023, managing over 134 insurance company ratings across Sub Saharan Africa and South East Asia. Previous roles include Investments Officer at Bushveld Capital, Senior Research Analyst at Platinum Groupe, Senior Analyst at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, Investment Analyst at the Mining Industry Pension Fund, Research Analyst at NDH Equities, and Economist at the Ministry of Industry and International Trade. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance from MANCOSA, a CIS from the Chartered Governance and Accountancy Institute in Zimbabwe, and a BSc Hons in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe.
