Surjit Chana

Surjit is a senior technology, digital transformation, and marketing executive and Harvard Fellow with deep general management and governance experience.

Surjit was a member of IBM's Global Senior Leadership Team for ten years. His prior roles include Chief Operating Officer, IBM Digital, Chief Marketing, Communications, and CSR Officer, IBM Europe, and Vice President Solutions, Strategy, and CMO of IBM's Systems Business. He holds software patents from his early technical career.

As part of his Harvard Fellowship, Surjit is focused on environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) issues and the impact of technology on leadership skills.

He is currently Director on the Board of Beneficial State Bank, Chair of the Board's Technology Committee, and member of the Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO). In addition, he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for a nonprofit, Care for the Homeless, and a Director on the University of Surrey Foundation.
