Brian Buffone

Brian Buffone has a diverse work experience in the finance and real estate industry. Brian is currently serving as the Head of Equity Investments/Managing Director at Benefit Street Partners since September 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Managing Director at Ladder Capital Corp from May 2014 to March 2018. Brian also founded and served as the President of Park Manor Capital Partners from December 2009 to June 2014, where they completed over $500 million in transactions. Before that, Brian was the CFO of Compson Holding Corporation from March 2006 to November 2009, where they managed various financial functions and spearheaded leveraged buyouts of publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trusts. Brian began their career as a Portfolio Manager at E*TRADE Financial, where they developed and managed a covered call investment fund strategy.

Brian Buffone attended Babson College from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Brian'sstudies focused on Quantitative Methods and Finance/Investment.
