Cameron Hughes

Cameron Hughes is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit and equity research within the energy sector. Currently serving as Vice President at Benefit Street Partners since September 2019, Cameron specializes in credit research related to energy, infrastructure, power, and logistics. Prior to this role, experience includes a position as Senior Associate at Citi, focusing on equity research in upstream oil and gas, and an associate role during internships at Roundrock Capital MGT LLC and Simmons & Company International. Cameron began a career in the energy industry as a Landman and regulatory specialist with AEP Permian/Sabco Oil from 2011 to 2015. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Christian University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
