John Liebenthal has had a varied and extensive work experience in the engineering field. John started their career as an Industrial Engineer at Perrigo in 2000, where they focused on equipment and labor standards. John then moved on to Pfizer in 2001, working as a Process Engineer and being responsible for business case development, process improvements, and equipment validation. John's next role was with Jacobs Engineering in 2005, where they served as a Sr. Project Manager and managed projects in the food and pharmaceutical industries, including capital planning and engineering management. John then joined ConAgra Foods in 2012 as a Principal Engineer before transitioning to Boar's Head Brand in 2014 as a Facilities Engineer. At Boar's Head Brand, John led the design and build of a new meat plant and established and trained a maintenance department. In 2015, John took on the position of Director of Engineering at Curation Foods, where they oversaw the sales and growth of fresh-cut vegetable brands. Following their time at Curation Foods, John worked for Weston Foods as a Sr Manager of Engineering from 2018 to 2021. Most recently, they joined Benestar Brands in 2021 as the Director of Engineering, and they were subsequently promoted to Vice President of Engineering in February 2022.
John Liebenthal attended Purdue University from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. John also pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University Northwest.
