Camilla Engel Lemser is currently a Forskende ph.d.-studerende at Statens Serum Institut since July 2022 and has been a PhD-student at PREDICT - Center for Molecular Prediction of Inflammatory Bowel Disease since September 2020, focusing on the biological and molecular changes related to the onset of Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Camilla previously served as an Akademisk medarbejder at Statens Serum Institut and as a Forskningsassistent at the National Food Institute, Technical University of Denmark, where skills in q-PCR and literature search were utilized. As a Master Thesis Student at Rigshospitalet from February 2018 to February 2019, research was conducted in the Laboratory of Reproductive Biology at the University Hospital of Copenhagen. Additionally, Camilla spent several years as a Science presenter at Experimentarium, engaging diverse audiences in scientific topics. Camilla holds a Master of Science in Cell Biology & Physiology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Københavns Universitet, as well as an STX degree in Biology from Birkerød Gymnasium.
