Jordi Fernandez

Jordi Fernandez is the CEO and founder of BeneTalk. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Structural & Installation Engineer for BP during the execution phase of GES. From September 2013 to September 2018, Jordi worked as a Lead Subsea Engineer for Wood Group Kenny. In this role, they were responsible for the design and structural analysis of subsea manifolds, reel lay systems and offshore operations (lifting, deployment and seafastenings). Prior to that, Jordi worked as a Principal Subsea Structural Engineer for Pegasus International from May 2012 to November 2013. In this role, they were responsible for the design and structural analysis of subsea manifolds, reel lay systems and offshore operations (lifting, deployment and seafastenings). Jordi has also worked as a Pipeline Subsea Engineer for KW Ltd from June 2007 to May 2012. In this role, they were responsible for the design and structural analysis of subsea pipelines. Jordi began their career as a Senior Facilities Engineer (Structural & Piping) for Eaton Automotive from May 2005 to February 2007.

Jordi Fernandez completed a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Jordi then completed an MEng in Engineering Management from the same school. Afterwards, they obtained an MSc in Subsea Engineering from the University of Aberdeen. Currently, they are a FullStack Developer, specializing in web development, from Le Wagon. Jordi is also certified from MIMechE in CEng MIMechE.
